RENEWAL OF THE "PATRIOT ACT"

Post by KathyP on Sat May 16, 2015 7:29 pm

Only 88 representatives in Congress had the backbone to vote against renewing provisions of the so called "Patriot Act." It's before the Senate now. Senator Dr. Rand Paul is threatening to filibuster this to keep it from coming to the floor for a vote. The provisions are the ones that allows the NSA access to our phone records, emails, text messages, Facebook posts and internet chats. It also keeps all of this info including ammunition and firearms purchases in a data base. It's time people. It's time to take our country back. The 3% of us and many more need to stand for what the U.S. Constitution guarantees every American. George Bush the 2nd is responsible for the "Patriot Act." The current White House occupant wants it to continue and become more involved in our everyday lives. Benjamin Franklin said that those who give up their freedom for security will have neither one.
